Tigress by J.E. Taylor

J.E. Taylor is a writer, a publisher, an editor, a manuscript formatter, a mother, a wife and a business analyst, not necessarily in that order. She first sat down to seriously write in February of 2007 after her daughter asked:

“Mom, if you could do anything, what would you do?”

From that moment on, she hasn’t looked back and now her writing resume includes a more than a dozen published novels along with several short stories on the virtual shelves including a few within eXcessica anthologies.

In addition to being co-owner of Novel Concept Publishing (www.novelconceptpublishing), Ms. Taylor also moonlights as a Senior Editor of Allegory (www.allegoryezine.com), an online venue for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. She has been known to edit a book or two and also offers her services judging writing contests for various RWA chapters.

She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children and during the summer months enjoys her weekends on the shore in southern Maine.

Naomi's immortality is nullified, making her vulnerable to the ones who consider her their conquest. If she wasn't already walking over the hot coals of misfortune she would be obsessed with the next ambush. The shadow vaccine is hell in a syringe, the antidote turning Naomi’s blood into a lethal elixir, rendering her toxic to all vampires, including Damian.

Archangel Michael reveals a long buried secret of her heritage and cautions Naomi against personally triggering the apocalypse. If Lucifer discovers just how unique she is, death at his hands will become her most appealing escape.

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
When I started Night Hawk, I knew it was going to be at least a three book series and after the release of Night Hawk there were some questions that readers consistently asked that needed to be answered in Tigress, so my readers inspired some of the direction this story took.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
Three months elapsed time, during which I also worked full time at a day job and participated in a month long blog tour for Night Hawk.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
Creating new and interesting characters and messing with their world to see how they react.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Finding the time. Also, when I run into a wall in a story – what folks call writer’s block – that isn’t fun at all. Working through that can be quite painful.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
Elsa Pataky. You probably don’t need to ask why – but here it is...Thor.

Yeah, I got me a serious crush on Chris Hemsworth and think he would be the perfect man to play the main character in my Games series.

If you folks don’t know who Elsa is (Fast Five / Fast & Furious 6), she’s married to the man.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
I have no clue and honestly, I’m a bit too lazy to look. I’m very comfortable in my comfy chair right now (http://www.jetaylor75.com/id30.html).

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
Trinity Rising in the Night Hawk Series (NA Paranormal Romance December 2013)

Knocking on Heaven’s Door in The Death Chronicles Series (YA Fantasy 2014)

Fallen – Prequel to The Games Series (YA/NA Suspense 2014)

Victim – (YA coming of age 2014)

I’m also formulating ideas for a spin off from The Steve Williams series as well.
