“What gives you a thrill Kristen?”

I knew that giving in to Vincent Sorenson was a risk, but it was one I was willing to take. I had hidden my heart for so long and for the first time in a long time, Vincent was close to breaking down the walls.

When a trip to Vincent’s exclusive private island reveals the real Vincent underneath the layers of suave nonchalance, I thought we were close to the start of something special.

Just when things were looking up for us, I would discover the one secret that Vincent never intended for me to find.

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
All I had when I started plotting out this story was an idea for a character. I pictured a man who was always underestimated due to his appearance, and a man who didn’t care what others thought of him. I eventually ended up with the character of Vincent Sorenson, a wealthy man, who still had a strong sense of where he came from and what he cared about. When I started planning out the other characters it seemed to make sense to make Kristen Daley as much of an opposite from Vincent as possible, so I set her in the conservative world of wealth management.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
This book took me around one month to write from start to finish.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
I really enjoy making up characters. I had so much fun with creating Vincent Sorenson as this larger than life hero.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Not being to find enough time to sit down and write! I’m not a full time writer so sometimes life gets in the way of being able to hunker down and focus.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
I’d be Taylor Swift. I love her music and getting the attention of all the boys would be a great side benefit. ;)

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
I’d say probably the bottle of yellow mustard that’s been sitting in there for a few months. I bought it at the grocery store thinking that I should have mustard as a condiment to be a real person, but to be honest, I hate the way mustard tastes. Yeah, I know, smart move. Anyway, it’s just been hanging out on the fridge door for some time now, waiting to be used.

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
I’m working on a new adult novel at the moment, but it’s too early to give out a lot of details about it. All I can say is that I have the plot completed and I’m super excited to tell you the story!
